From a young age, Pastor Ferguson had a strong desire to know God.  After searching for many years he was invited to a home Bible study that would alter the course of his life forever.  After much teaching he was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Shortly thereafter Pastor Ferguson began attending New Life Church in Austin, Texas.  While attending New Life he began to feel God leading him into ministry.  

In the fall of 1999 Pastor began his ministry pursuit by studying theology at Texas Bible College, Houston.  Texas Bible College not only increased his love for the Word but is also the place where he met the love of his life, Misti, a Christian Education student, who he married in the summer of 2000.  Later, Pastor and Mrs. Ferguson moved to Conroe, Texas, where they served in the local church in various positions including Care Pastors, worship leaders, Sunday School teachers, and several other leadership positions.

On August 20, 2011, Pastor and Mrs. Ferguson were elected to serve as pastor of the fine congregation in Eastland.  Immediately upon assuming the pastorate they began to cast vision and set personal goals for continued church growth.  Their goal is to not only minister to the members of The POE but to also serve the people of Eastland County.
